Starlight Girl Wins Barrier Trial in Fine Style

Zoustar 2yo filly STARLIGHT GIRL made her second appearance at a public trial a memorable one when sustaining a high speed gallop to win by 3 lengths. Prepared by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott the filly showed just how much she had improved in her second preparation and a trip to the races might not be far away.

Speaking after the trial Adrian commented “She is a high speed filly and she showed today what we expected, a high cruising speed and a dominant win”. Another trial might slot into her program before her first race day appearance but on the back of this strong trial win connections have a lot to look forward to.

STARLIGHT GIRL was purchased by PR Thoroughbreds for $180,000 in January 2022 from the Magic Millions Yearling Sale from Widden Stud.
