Launched in 2021 PR Cups targets staying bred yearlings to develop into elite middle distance and staying horses.

Our focus is on Europe and New Zealand, where we feel there is still a strong emphasis on producing elite stayers.
​
Any yearlings purchased are brought back to Australia to grow out at Noorilim Park, one of Australia’s leading thoroughbred farms, before heading to their selected breakers and trainer.
Patience is the key to the program and no horses are rushed.

We want to see them on the track for many seasons.

PR Cups purchased one filly by sire Sea The Stars in 2021.

Named SEA WHAT I SEE she is in training with Danny O’Brien and she has developed into one of the most promising middle distance mares in Australia. Starting her autumn campaign in Bendigo she broke her maiden in commanding style and has followed up with wins at Moonee Valley, Caulfield, Flemington, Mornington and culminating with victory in the Listed Centuria Stakes at Morphetville on 11 May 2024. Six starts six wins and the promise of more to come in the Spring.
Mark and Rob will be heading back to Europe in September 2024 to attend the Goffs Orby Sale and other yearling sales to try to go identify some more quality staying types.
